The Ishikawa module is used to create Ishikawa diagrams and gives you the opportunity to analyze, for example, cause-effect relationships.
These can be easily drawn and edited by hand and the use of format templates and Ishikawa templates provides a dynamic and easy management.
Subsequently, the identified influencing variables or causes can be evaluated by means of individually applicable systematics. From the main and secondary causes identified by the evaluation, measures can be generated automatically (including optional 5-Why analysis) using the automatic transfer to the ToDo module.
Benefits for your business
The module Ishikawa offers a dynamic solution to create, design and analyze Ishikawa diagrams. This enables you to throughly analyze the causes of problems and to create appropriate counter-measures. The generated measures can be directly linked to the ToDo-Manager and the appropriate persons. This way, critical points can be fixed quickly and effectively.
Analyze and evaluate
The analysis and evaluation is carried out with evaluation systems which can be adapted to your needs and expectations (e.g. traffic lights, number of points, etc.). Once the evaluation has been completed, it is also possible to automatically transfer the evaluated causes / influencing variables to the module ToDo. ToDo structures the evaluated points based on the diagram’s branches / levels and enables you to perform 5-Why analyses and define and trace appropriate measures. Once all the measures have been implemented, the Ishikawa module can be used to carry out a subsequent evaluation of the diagram, which evaluates the new, optimized status.
Branches and designations can be added by clicking and dragging with the mouse.
By using Ishikawa templates you can create general design templates which can be used as a basis for new Ishikawas, or you can combine multiple templates at once to create complex Ishikawas.
The creation of format templates results in an even simpler graphic design. The design of the branches and their labels can be defined dynamically for each level. When you create an Ishikawa diagram, the tool detects the level at which you are working and automatically sets the correct format. This will not only make your work faster, but you will also get a consistent view throughout the company.
The GUKSA GmbH offers further software modules that can be connected for an individual solution for your company. Therefore, redundant displays and maintenance of data is unnecessary. GUKSA develops and extends its software products continuously according to the market’s requirements to be able to offer you a suitable solution for your needs at all times.
The extension to PB+ allows you to assign Ishikawa diagrams to your business processes. If, for example, you address the responsible process within the scope of a complaint/error, you will receive a process-related summary of all the assigned Ishikawa diagrams at a glance.
The module ToDo allows the structured transfer of your assessments for the creation and trace of measures. This provides you with a comprehensive tool for the analysis, assessment, preparation, and follow-up evaluation of cause-effect relationships.
